Some pictures from Australia Day... it was an unusual day as the beach was fairly quiet. It has been raining the past week with severe thunderstorms and flash flooding everyday. We were thankful that even though it was not a sunny day, the rain stayed away. Perhaps most people changed their plans for inside ones. We (Metui, Sio and I from the YWAM base) met up with some church people and youth, and a few others who happened to be passing along , to spend some time barbequing, swimming, kayaking, playing volleyball and ending with a mean game of cricket. I thought it was like baseball but upon further review and some quick guidelines from my friend Danny Lean, I've come to the conclusion....its not. At all. Hahahaha. At one point I was thanking God for such diversity in Australia. Our volleyball game included Tongan, Samoan, PNG, Australia, Fijian Indian etc....Such a fun day!
